Brightin Star releases their first AF lens: A 50mm f/1.4 APS-C

The Chinese lens manufacturer officially announced their first ever lens with autofocus.

Chinese lens manufacturer Brightin Star, well-known for making affordable ‘manual-everything’ lenses, has released their first ever lens with autofocus – and it is a 50mm f/1.4 AF lens for APS-C cameras (75mm full frame equivalent). It is available for Sony E, Nikon Z and Fuji X mounts.

The only pricing information available at the moment is available on the official Chinese press release – which states it will cost ¥1399 (roughly $200) however pricing will most likely differ between the Chinese and international markets.

Some more info on the lens: minimum focus distance 50cm; 58mm filter size and weighs 449 grams.
